With the flat racing season upon us DGA Racing are looking forward to introducing a new 2 year old horse to the membership. You are all going to be very pleased because its a filly sired by SLADE POWER. On the racetrack, Slade Power carried all before him in 2014, landing both the G1 July Cup and G1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes to earn him the title of Europe’s Champion older sprinter.
At his peak he was higher rated than his sire, grandsire and great-grandsire and rated the best sprinter for over a decade. His first yearlings have been selling for up to €310,000.
Slade Power’s first crop are two-year-olds in 2018 and one of them will be racing in DGA Racing colours.We are fortunate to have one of his first two year olds, Heartstring, who has settled in well and is now being prepared for racing by Ann Duffield.
